Turn 1 Wins (pt.2)

Following my last post on a Turn 1 chroma win, I spoke with the community about other turn 1 wins that people have had or could theoretically have.

This article includes three more examples.

One from myself, one from Veridian (Charlie) [The Achroma Community Coordinator for Realm Runner Studios], and lastly one from fellow player and blog writer Echo7, link to their blog here.

My turn 1 win idea is very simple, Asa & 2 Caches.

This is an Achrom win in a 1v1 or a way to eliminate an opponent turn one on a bigger multiplayer.

You need to go last so that your able to steal,

Playing Asa puts you down to 6 Shards, resolving her now leaves both you and your opponent on 8. Then two Caches activates Asa's Ability leaving you with 6 shards and your opponent on 0 !

Many Achrom wins can happen turn 1 because opponents have left themselves far to low on shards. Shard management is really important to learn, do not overspend before your able to gain or trade for them back.

Veridian had this achrom turn 1 win idea:

Once again you need to go last to be able to steal and trade first.

So, you trade Issadora putting you on 16 shards, then play Sorcerer Pifarius and attach Cintimani stone to him in order to play Issadora for free.

You will now be on 8 shards, spend another 4 to play Peorth which hopefully reveals another Occultist character; here we have used Warlock (even if it doesn't you should still have enough steal and drain to win).

Peorth will now drain 5 (leaving your opponent on 5) and now just resolve for a net of Steal10!       Issadora - steal 2 + her ability steal 2, Pifarius will be steal 3, Stone for steal 2 and Warlock for steal 1.

The last turn 1 win example is a chroma win, and it is not just an idea but a win that Echo7 has had with Rayders Deck.

Eccho7 and Lewymd (Lewis) built this deck and came 3rd and 1st in the grand tournament with it.

Here is their articles on this palette: Echo7, Lewymd

Here is Echo7's turn 1 win:

As with all these examples you need to go last, this time to be able to double trade. There is also a steal at play but that isn't necessary.

Trade Giant Prism (be on 15 shards). Play Ray and splat a full Palette on him. Put Cintimani Stone on ray to replay full palette again. Your now on 7 shards and ray and now resolve for a total of 17, include 2 steal from your stone and your resolve will leave you on 26. Finish with trading Lab coat (or can be any card with at least 4 shards!)

Thank you for reading and for the community for sharing their wins and ideas. Please tell me other turn 1 wins you have had or seen!
