24 Live Charity Stream (highlights and a look at the tiers)

Charlie, also known as Viridian (the community coordinator) hosted and ran a 24 hour live stream from the 19th-20th August. This was to raise money towards Dexter's Arc, a platform that works to raise money towards helping children with cancer. To read Dexter's full story and what Dexter arc helps with please click here

As you can see in the screen shot the community raised just over £500! This is amazing!

Great work for everyone, especially for Charlie for staying awake and active the whole 24 hours. It was a lot of the fun.

There was a link for direct donations but the main way to donate has always been buying a 'Dexter, master of dragons' realm runner card. This card shows  young Dexter immortalised into his parents world of Achroma.

The stream had a lot of community games. Charlie has admitted he was quite worried about really late night/ early morning when he thought noone would be online.

But community members stayed awake and was playing all through the night. A big shout out to Sarah-Jane who was playing the entire night. I set a 4am alarm and played for an hour, which was lots of fun and I loved being apart of it.

There's was also giveaways, Adventure App playthroughs and really in-depth interviews with some of the realm runner staff. Which was really insightful and left a great community feeling, just seeing how much passion and hard work this small team put into achroma!  We also had sneak peaks of Draco chapter 2 which I may go into more another day.

Lastly today, what I want to discuss is the community tiers of chapter 1 cards.

I previously wrote about the realmless tiers that was made, and now all the realms have also been ranked.

These took over 2 hours each to discuss and rank so I will only give my brief opinion on each one.

Its important to note that these tiers were made for fun by those who were online at the time of the discussion.

Salum - The curse of Curdle Hill

So many strong cards in this chapter. Look at the amount of S tier cards: fireball, Quintessence, corrupted muon trap, Salum Spring and more - all strong staples in any deck.

I don't disagree with anything here. I was debating Rabid Dog for S, but A is a good place for it. Poisonous and steal for a cheap card is so good in any deck build.

I love everything about Salum Planum. I can't wait until we tier chapter 2!

Draco - The siege of Draco Temple

I am only just starting to play with the few Draco cards that I own. So I don't know  much about Draco cards as a whole.

Once again, very strong cards in this realm. S tier is boasting the likes of Tenebris, Lost Fairies, Breath of fire ect.

What's interesting here is the amount of F and D cards. Especially as Draco feels like it's Many people's favourite realm. There is also alot of unpopular cards too.

Spirata- The fall of Flutterby

I was really excited about being apart of making this tier list. I love this realm and it's also spirata season next.

So many obvious worthy S tiers cards; Copper Joss, Full Palette, Bounce, Carmella, Wincey, Imp and more. Such a great realm to play and hardly any F rated cards.

I did want to see Funguar higher up, maybe even an A! Just because of how important poisonous is.

Norso- The Warriors of Wishwell

I hardly play this realm at all! I need to change this soon. Similar to Draco I feel I will get more into them with Chapter 2.

My lack of knowledge will mean I can't really comment on this tier listing.

Thanks to Charlie and the whole community for this successful 24 hour live stream and raising £500 !!!!

I look forward to seeing if this happens again next year during Draco Summer :)

Thank you for reading
