making a SACRIFICE

After playing around with my first Draco palettes (deck build here) 

I have turned my attention onto the key word SACRIFICE and building around that. 

At first I didn't like the keyword, as it seemed there are better actions where you can get the same effects without also erasing one of your own cards. 

However, when combined with other objects and actions this keyword all of a sudden gets really strong. 

Examples;

Bathed in Achrom means you can erase cards on an opponents canvas instead for a turn (and play 1 sacrifice card for free!) 

Dark Toli means your attached character doesn't get erased when sacrificed.

Sacrificial Ovoo allows your sacrifice ability to be done twice (for example scorch usually is steal 2 will now be steal 4!) 

And Stolen Dragon Egg when sacrificed immediately steals 3 and then whatever the sacrifice effect does!

So much devastation to be done here. 

In both of the decks below I have used Ray as the legendry, he offers essential gain in an Achrom deck as shard management is crucial. Many other great legandary options though, perhaps Tenebris to stick with the drake and steal theme.

Also, I have only included cards that I have available (not ones that are used in my other decks). Aim is to build the best without deconstructing or borrowing from my other palettes!! 

Here is my first attempt:

This first build on top all the sacrifice cards focuses on drakes and getting a synergy with achrom haven.

I had some good games with this build but I was struggling getting the drake synergues and Achrom haven & Mortius drake were just being used as trade fodder.

So I changed the palette up and made this second build:

I added Roc instead as a creature I was more happy to sacrifice. Play, get its resolve and then sacrifice. 

Another change is Vast Voltarus which is also in my dragon build, linked at the top of the article. It is probably one of the best rares in Draco and is essential gain for an achrom deck. If played first round you can easily get a chroma win turn 2 or 3 with it. Meditation can be used to gain 3 more cards, either to play or use for more gain with Vast Voltarus. 

Achrom Haven is now monastery underside, mainly still trade fodder but that give good prevent when against other achrom decks.
